Deep Eddy Pool

Laid back, spring fed pool

Red Heart Full_3x.png
Red Heart Outline.png

While Barton Springs has become one of Austin's top attractions, Deep Eddy Pool continues to fly under the radar, making it a favorite of locals wanting to avoid the crowds. This spring fed pool overlooking Lady Bird Lake is free in the winter and $9 for non-resident adults the rest of the year. But it doesn't matter what time of year you stop by because it has an average temperature of 74 degrees year round. See if they are hosting one of their Float-In Movies while you are in town. If you get hungry, head to the nearby Pool Burger for a bit to eat.

This one stop shop for a day full of fun has it all. Start with one of their breakfast tacos, which are some of the best in town, and a coffee. Then head out to their spacious back patio to hangout with friends or take in the live music they often have going on. If you get hungry for lunch, head back inside for a burger, salad or sandwich and a local beer to keep the day going. On Sunday mornings during brunch, that live music is performed by a children's musician who is sure to get your little one moving.
